Christmas Candyland-Festive Family Boat Trips

Why take the kids to Lapland to see Santa this Christmas when they can visit him by boat in his underground grotto deep in the Dudley Caverns?

Just imagine your children’s faces as they visit Santa on a magical illuminated journey that truly brings the festive season to life with fun and excitement. It’s a dramatically different way to get into the festive spirit. There’ll be music, our famous funny family show and, of course, gifts for all the children.

Ludlow Medieval Christmas Fayre

Ludlow’s hugely popular Medieval Christmas Fayre returns to the town’s stunning Castle for a very special anniversary year. For two whole days in November, Ludlow Castle and its grounds are transformed into a family friendly Medieval Fayre with a packed programme of entertainment, delicious food and drink and over 100 stall-holders selling seasonal wares!

Magical Winter Wonderland at Dudley Zoo

At Dudley Zoological Gardens there’s Christmas magic in the air…

Pre-Book now for our Winter Wonderland package, which runs from December 1 to Christmas Eve, includes a visit to see Santa in his grotto set within the walls of 11th century Dudley Castle. After receiving a special gift from Santa it’s off to see Santa’s reindeer as they prepare for their busiest night of the year. The festive package includes admission to DZG and a chance to see your favourite species and find out what they’re up to this Christmas.

Reindeer Stroll 2 at Mary Stevens Park

We’d love you to join us for a free afternoon in Stourbridge, as we toddle, stroll, walk and wander around Mary Stevens Park Heritage and Health. Find all of the reindeer clues on our Reindeer Trail, meet & greet with children’s characters, decorate antlers, make reindeer food and sing Christmas songs in the bandstand.

Santa’s Grotto is back at Halfpenny Green Vineyard again for 2018, this year we are in our own building next to the onsite restaurant and shop, we are fully booked every year so dont miss out book early, you can visit Santa and now you have the choice of adding a toy or Make a Bear activity!

Santa Jog!

Santas, are you ready?! Santa Jog returns for 2018, complete with full festive market in the heart of Mary Stevens Park, Stourbridge!

Once a year, Hospice supporters don their jolly red costumes and take over Mary Stevens Park for a day of fantastic family fun completing a 5k route around Stourbridge’s most famous park.

New for 2018, we will also be having a festive market so that the fun can continue long into the afternoon once the run/jog/walk is done, with live music, craft stalls and food vans on hand to cater to your every whim two weeks before Christmas.

Santa Steam Specials at the Severn Valley Railway

Travel by steam train in our vintage carriages from Kidderminster to Arley where you get off the train and the children, and the grown-ups, will have the thrill of meeting Father Christmas in his grotto.

Our historical Stations are dressed for the occasion, with plenty of photo opportunities both on and off the train.
When you meet the man himself, Santa will have a quality present for all fare-paying children, and you’ll be able to open it up on the steam train of your choice back to Kidderminster, with the option to break your journey at the beautiful riverside town of Bewdley.
Santa Steam Specials operate on: December 1st, 2nd, 8th, 9th, 15th, 16th, 22nd & 23rd. Limited availability.

Visit Santa at Arley Arboretum

BOOKING ESSENTIAL: NEW For Christmas 2018 visit Santa and Mrs Claus in their cottage at Arley Arboretum every Saturday and Sunday. Until the 23rd December.

Knock on Santa’s cosy Christmas Cottage door where you’ll be greeted by Mrs Claus and invited into the cottage kitchen! You will then join Santa in the Claus’ sitting room where you will be able to tell him your Christmas wishes and choose a present from under the Christmas Tree.

Don’t forget to post your Christmas list in his magic post box on the way home!

Visiting times maybe be booked from 11am, after Santa has fed the reindeers, up until 3.30pm – after which he has his afternoon nap!
