Artrix Arts Centre: Old Macdonald!

This May Half Term, there will be a gorgeous performance of Old MacDonald And The Three Pigs Plus from Booster Cushion Children’s Theatre, which is perfect for 4-8 year olds.

This colourful and interactive show will take place outside Artrix (or in the Studio if the weather is inclement) on Tue 29th May, at 1pm.

Buzzy Bees Trail at the Severn Valley Country Park

To celebrate the Great British Bee Count 2018, join us for a bee themed self-led trail. Follow the trail around the park using the map you can collect from the visitor centre between 11am-4pm each day of the holidays. Find out more about these great insects and see if you can answer the quiz questions along the way. Trail maps £2 each includes a small prize (lolly or similar).

Family Fun Days at the Severn Valley Railway

Spring is here, and we’ll be steaming along from May 26th – June 3rd for half-term! Trains are running daily, giving you the chance to experience a bygone age in the beautiful Severn Valley Railway. Including a miniature railway at Kidderminster and Toll House at Highley.

SVR Rocks! decorate your very own rocks or other found items in nature and hide them in various locations to brighten someone’s day. You can use paint, chalk, crayons, sharpies, or whatever- as long as it has a coat of sealer over it to help preserve the art.
Find the Gnome Trail: some naughty Gnomes have escaped from nearby Gardens, and have hidden themselves around The Engine House. Can you find them all to win a prize?

Monday-Wednesday: Flip & Dippy’s Fun Days! Times vary between 11-3pm.

Giraffe Week at West Midland Safari Park

Join us from 26th May – 3rd June 2018, when we will be celebrating all things giraffe and raising funds for giraffe conservation at the same time! 🦒

Become a Giraffe Ranger by going on patrol around the Discovery Trail, learning about our giraffe as you go. There will be a prize at the end for those who have proven they have what it takes to be a Giraffe Ranger! • Our Craft Club will be open daily from 12:00 – 15:00, where you have the chance to take part in some giraffe-themed crafts to take home! • Listen to our Giraffe Talks, exclusively held this week, at 11:30 & 15:30 at the Encounter Stage.
